Anju Sidhu, MD

Hi! I am originally from the east coast and have enjoyed living in beautiful Colorado since 2013. I am so excited to join Peak Gastro because I have found a team of like-minded, intelligent, and caring physicians. Each member brings a unique aspect to the group to ensure we can serve your medical needs. After completing fellowship, I became board-certified in gastroenterology and hepatology. Much of my time with patients is spent performing upper endoscopies and colonoscopies or in clinic for office visits. I am able to help patients with a variety of disease processes such as irritable bowel syndrome, constipation, diarrhea, colitis, as well as liver and pancreas disorders. Additionally, I am trained to perform advanced procedures such as ERCPs.

Whether our encounter is limited (for a screening colonoscopy) or sustained (for chronic illness), my goal is to understand your unique health situation and to ensure you are cared for and respected.

I was born in Houston, Texas and have also lived in Virginia, New Orleans, Detroit, and now Colorado Springs. It was the beauty of the land and the nature of the people that drew me to the area.My interests include reading, music, electronics, and adventure sports. As the lead singer in a rock band, I have given multiple performances. I love road trips and traveling abroad to learn about new cultures.

I decided to become a doctor at an early age. My desire to help others and establish therapeutic rapport with my patients has driven me to excel. I served as the chief fellow during my training. My areas of interest include therapeutic endoscopy, inflammatory bowel diseases, as well as liver and pancreatic disease.

Having a special passion for teaching, I strive to educate patients about their illnesses to enable them to be an active participant in their care.

Patient Testimonial

I had two previous bad experiences with surgery for hemorrhoids. If I had known earlier I would have been in less pain for years.
